Mission and Purpose

By Light Unseen is intended as a resource for those who are interested in exploring the deeper implications--philosophical, spiritual, and practical--of real life vampirism, and its relationship to history, tradition and culture.

This site is not for everyone. "Community-building" is not my goal. I am a truth-seeker, and my quest is to tear apart conventional (and unconventional) assumptions and clichés about vampires and look for the reality that lies within. This website exists to share that quest with anyone else who is interested, as far as they care to pursue it with me.

If a seeker is open to seeing truth, he or she will see it; otherwise, it remains unseen, no matter how bright a light shines upon it. People will take in only that information they are ready to accept and, more importantly, that they truly need. I hope that By Light Unseen will be of value to many people for many different reasons, whatever their Path. I also hope that I may be able to form alliances with those who are on the same quest as I am.
